History
From Thuringia to the global market.
After the Second World War, Arthur Wilke and his son Freimuth fled from the region of Thuringia in East Germany. The last stop on this arduous journey was the ‘velvet and silk city’ of Krefeld in the Lower Rhine region. It was a city famous for its first-class woven products. With their profound knowledge of conveyor belt manufacturing, Mr. Wilke and his son established the “Thuringia Treibriemen- und Seilfabrik” in 1949.

It is for this reason that we greatly value close personal contact when it comes to the relationship with our customers and the continuous development of our products. Traditional and seamless weaving technology guarantees a hard-wearing and long-lasting end product.

Endless. Seamless. No compromises with AFH Production
Depending on your specific requirements, we produce on the basis of polyester, Nomex or Kevlar yarns. The traditional weaving technique allows us to produce high-quality fabrics free of seams, glued joints or welded connections. Combined with our individual and innovative coating process, we offer hardnesses of 35 to 90 Shore A in PVC, silicone or TPU, depending on your specifications. In addition, we offer belts in versions with antistatic and non-stick effects.
